Podotone© marcal offers tactile floor devices to create alert zones on the exterior and interior of buildings.
Podotone© marcal detectable warning areas are embodied in an alignment of several rows of tactile buttons attached to the ground. The tactile prevention and warning zones are generally used at the top of the stairs, 50cm before the first step, to inform by means of visual and tactile contrast of the danger of falling.
The Podotone© marcal tactile buttons are made of 316L stainless steel. There are two button diameters: 25mm and 35mm. The “podotone bouton in” is finished in brushed stainless steel and is installed by chemical sealing without drilling into the ground. An M5 threaded screw offers an optional mechanical installation plug. The “podotone bouton out” has a red, yellow, gray or black DIAMONDTRED © DURAL non-skid surface or engraving brass. The choice of color guarantees the visual contrast with respect to the nature of the ground. The use of colors can be total or partial in order to highlight a part of the tactile warning area: one or more rows, or the alternation at regular intervals, first and last row, at the intersection of a way, in the point of vertical signage information area, etc. The installation is carried out by means of chemical sealing without drilling the floor and optionally with a screw it allows a mechanical anchoring complement.
The installation templates for placement (and drilling) allow the buttons to be aligned according to their diameters, respecting a number of buttons per linear meter and an implementation typology (NF P98-351). The Podotone© marcal tactile signage range can be combined with the stainless steel tactile bars of the Podoinox © marcal range to create tactile path and ways.

The body is cast in 316L stainless steel with chamfered shape.
The bottom side of the product has a specific design that offers a reserve for the adhesive.
The top face of the product has a cavity that receives a non-skid PVC material DIAMONDTRED © DURAL.
Fixing is carried out by chemical sealing and optionally, invisible mechanical anchoring by screw, thanks to a 6,5mm diameter milled central hole.
A placement and drilling template makes it easy to install the tactile device to the ground. For the application of tactile warning zones three standard implantations are possible: 80, 120 or 148 buttons per linear meter.
The finish is in brushed stainless steel with non-skid colored relief on the top: Yellow (+/- RAL 1006), Red (+/- RAL 3011), Gray (+/- RAL 7004) and Black (+/- RAL9004 ).
