The Podoinox© marcal tactile warning zones are materialized in a series of flooring indicators attached to the ground. The spaces between the tactile buttons may vary according to the indications of the construction project. These detectable warning zones are used at the top of the stairs, 50cm from the first step, to prevent a fall hazard, through visual contrast and tactile relief.
The Podoinox© marcal “podo bouton in” and “podo bouton out” products are cast in 316L stainless steel. They have a stem that allows mechanical-chemical anchoring in the ground. The "in" finish is brushed for indoors use priority. The “out” finish features a non-skid diamond relief preferable for outdoor use. The brushed brass stainless steel finish on Podoinox© marcal is available on request offering more options for visual contrast.
The “drilling&placement” installation templates guarantee the alignment of the tactile buttons while respecting a number of elements per linear meter. The technical data sheets BEV 80, BEV 120 or BEV 148 of the signage range provide information on these points.
Podoinox© marcal guidance system or tactile path are created by combining a set of surface bars and buttons on the pavement. The start, the end and the eventual intersections of the accessible path take the form of warning zones and are composed of only tactile buttons. In order to optimize the movements of users, additional signage information can mark the accessible traffic flows with totems, signpost, orientation tables, tactile plans and signage on the ground.
The Podoinox© marcal “podo barre in” and “podo barre out” products are cast in 316L stainless steel. They have three stem that allows mechanical-chemical anchoring in the ground. The "in" finish for the bars is brushed for indoors use priority. The “out” finish for the bars features a non-skid diamond relief preferable for outdoor use. The brushed brass stainless steel finish proposes an alternative solution of visual contrast. Standard installation templates propose a width of 4 bars and start-end-intersection zones of 25 buttons.

Podobouton : The tactile buttons are cast in 316L stainless steel with chamfered shape.
The bottom side of the product features a concave design that secures the adhesive.
The fixing is done by chemical sealing and mechanical anchoring, thanks to the 6mm diameter and 12mm long stem molded into the base.
A drilling and placement template facilitate the installation work.
For mounting tactile warning zones, there are three standard configurations: 80, 120 or 148 buttons per linear meter.
The finish on the top face is brushed stainless steel for the "in" version and with a diamond non-skid relief texture for the "out" version.
