Kourouma© marcal offers fire evacuation solutions with photoluminescent accesible signs. The access to the "safe places" or “refuge point” for people with reduced mobility is done by tactile directional signposts. The identification of the “refuge point” is carried out by the universal wheelchair pictogram that will be placed near the security intercom, and next to the safety notices. “Keep clear” signs are also requested in these safe places (Sécurité© marcal range).
The evacuation flow of people with reduced mobility (PMR) can sometimes differ from the main evacuation way. In this case, it is convenient to identify the accessible evacuation route by special adapted sign to the meeting point or refuge point.
In all cases, the Kourouma© marcal signage is accessible to all audiences with the information made in by raised pictograms and text and Braille writing, for tactile reading according to the marcal full access© concept.
The information is photoluminescent to be visible, readable and understandable, even without light. Kourouma© marcal complies with the NF X 08-70 regulation, the international ISO 7010 standard, "Safety Signs and Signals" and "Health & Safety regulations".
The international accessibility pictogram is used according to ADA Standard for Accessible Design.
