Littera© marcal is a range of signs made up of a line of pictograms and raised characters. A complete alphabet, numbers and pictograms are proposed in different heights (50, 100 and 150mm) adapting to the needs of the signage project.
Five finishes are available. Matte brushed stainless steel (SS), black powder coated aluminum (NR) and brushed aluminum brass finish anodized (LT), for cut-out silhouettes. For the plates, the finishes are natural anodized aluminum (A) and tempered glass.
These finishes allow to create a contrast between the product and its environment, making the product stand out clearly. The transcription in braille writing and the relief, offer a tactile reading favoring the readability and accessibility of the information.
The braille spheres are made of 316L stainless steel and are embedded in the pictogram material.
Littera© marcal allows numerous signage applications such as toilet identification: male, female and disabled, elevator pictograms, stairs, information point and restricted access. On the other hand the numbers and letters are frequently used for the identification of the floor level and for the numbering of various rooms. (apartments, offices, hotel rooms)
There are other complementary pictograms to cover common needs: bicycle, shower, waste room, electrical room, cleaning room, climate room, no smoking sign, cloak room, plant room, hearing loop, etc.
These signs pictograms, littera50 and littera100, are installed using double-sided adhesive tape. Instead, the littera150 pictograms can be mechanically fixed using a spacer.
Other pictogram designs can be made upon request. The Lettre© marcal range allows dealing with this type of specific needs.

The product is composed of the following elements:
Types (letters and numbers) and pictograms, laser cut, in brushed stainless steel, black powder coated aluminum and brushed aluminum brass finish anodized.

Braille writing is done by embed 316L stainless steel spheres into the body of the material. The cut of the silhouettes is clean and rough to facilitate tactile reading. The support is fixed by structural adhesive letters : A, B, C, D, E.... numbers : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

technical description
The product is composed of the following elements:
A 150x150mm plate in 4mm thick tempered glass with polished and chamfered edges or in 3mm thick natural anodized aluminum.
A matte silver marking film is placed as the base of the pictogram.
A pictogram in relief with its 30 ° chamfered contour is made of 1mm ABS and attached to the plate by adhesive. (3M)
