Pasamano© marcal proposes a range of design tactile signage products that favors accessibility to information for all audiences.
The tactile devices are made and engraved in aluminum to create visual and tactile contrast: the information is in raised braille and embossed characters, and the finish is natural anodized micro-sandblasting. The visual contrast of the tactile signs is obtained by black coloring of the background respect to the relief area.
The creation of Pasamano© marcal is customizable from vectorized graphic files. The message is synthetic: arrow, pictogram, text or coding. Given this synthesis of information, the space limitations (character height, typeface and language...) and tactile reading times, force reflection on the careful choice of placement of this accessibility signage.
Pasamano© marcal is used on handrails and walkways and assist blind and visually impaired people to floor levels on stairs, facilitates the access in transport platforms or provides various identifications in technical aids.
The references of Pasamano©A y Pasamano©D are customizable in content and are installed directly on handrails or wall-mounted over handrails, preferably on the right side. The bending of the device in half-round is variable (between 35mm and 55mm) and is fixed by structural adhesive or by mechanical fixing.
On a flat surface (wall or square section handrails ...) Pasamano©B and Pasamano©C are fixed mechanically and/or by structural adhesive.

technical description
The tactile device is made up of the following elements:
The raised elements (high relief) arrows, pictograms, numbering and braille writing are engraved on a 2 mm aluminum plate. The perimeter edges are chamfered to facilitate haptic reading. The product is curved according to the diameter of the cylindrical handrail, forming a half-round device (between 35 and 55 mm). A natural anodized micro-sandblasted finish precedes the painted black background of the engraving, ensuring visual contrast.
The tactile handrails signage is fixed by structural adhesive, preferably on the right side of stairs or corridors.
